Hostage situation in Sydney.
I only arrived here on Saturday and now there's a hostage situation in the CBD.

He wasn't an Arab as far as I'm aware.

And he didn't have a gun licence.

Every country where there is Islam there is death and destruction..
Enough with all this lovey dovey crap..

Its everybody else` s fault but theirs..

Within a week or two somewhere there will be another atrocity by Islamics.. but by some on here its not their fault its someone elses..

Stone age followers of a stone age belief system.

"he was a follower of the Cult of Death"

I don't think he was, he was a different type of arab, a muslim I believe.

You're getting your arabs mixed up.

Gavros, you're better off not trying to read the mind of people you obviously don't understand.

The fact that no muslims have been lynched in here or Australia or for that matter anywhere else is a sure sign of our tolerance - as opposed to total lack of it in any muslim country you would care to mention. This illridewithyou stuff isn't about togetherness, its about lefty twats trying to side with minorities against a perceived foe in the form of normal people.

"Who were the 'liberal do-gooders' that allowed that man to walk free? Blame those in the Australian justice system who allowed it to happen by all means, I couldn't find the quote where Tony Abbott blames anyone either specifically or not, could you point me to it?"

You should take a look at the thorough and detailed 5 part report in the Occidental Observer which will cover all aspects of Australia's destruction for you.

Re: Hostage situation in Sydney.
He was not denied a gun license because the authorities were worried about upsetting him as he was a follower of the Cult of Death and they did not want to be called 'racist' or 'intolerant'.

Re: Hostage situation in Sydney.
You can absolutely guarantee he wouldn't have been extradited by the UK either. Far too easy to get in and far too difficult to get out.

People like the murderer in Sydney wanted to increase hatred for THE OTHER on both sides. The I'll ride with you hashtag was an attempt by people to show they weren't being drawn into that and are supportive of the "other". They were defending democratic ideals by doing so. To criticise them for doing so is basically to Do what the murderer wants. Just like lots of people on here.

Be interested to see what comes out to understand how someone charged with being an accessory to murder and having 40 odd sex charges comes to be out on bail.
And given him being known to police for his political activity and having being charged with writing abusive letters to the families of dead Aust servicemen he WASNT being monitored.

I'm sure it will be the normal story of 'we need to learn lessons'.
Obviously anyone who acts like he had after being granted asylum should have been shipped back to somewhere he would find more amenable to his sensibilities.

it now appears for all the things we already knew about this "wrong un" he was granted a gun licence !

Re: Hostage situation in Sydney.
I understand at some point Iran applied to extradite this guy due to some offence and Australia refused.
There needs to be less pussy footing about dealing with dangerous criminals and religious nutters caused by worries about how that will be perceived in a politically correct manner.
There also needs to be an understanding that not every Muslim agrees with IS and is a potential terrorist. That's all this illridewithyou thing was about to show support to those people.
You can do that at the same time as dealing with the nutters.

Re: Hostage situation in Sydney.
Mind you, can you think of anything worse than having to contact someone via twitter because you want the protection and solidarity of a militant feminist lefty on a train. #illridewithyou

Re: Hostage situation in Sydney.
Two people in Sydney have been killed after an islamic state inspired hostage taking, 130 children killed in Pakistan thanks to the Taliban, countless people killed in Iraq and Syria thanks to extremists, deaths in Spain, Britain, America, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand. India, Nigeria, Sudan, somalia, Kenya.......but really we should concern ourselves as to whether someone on a train considers themselves to be somewhat socially vulnerable.

I can't stand twitter purely because of attention seeking campaigns such as the one you've just highlighted.

However that doesn't mean it wasn't well meaning or that there was an alterior motive, people see what they want to see.

Anyone with any balls would have locked him up or deported him.

Well I agree with you looking at his record he should've been locked up or deported.

Gavros 9:14 Wed Dec 17
Re: Hostage situation in Sydney.
Its not harmless at all. It is all about turning the situation on its head to blame a largely spectral idea of a racist society for what happened, rather than the root of the problem, which is Islamic extremism. Fail to understand that and you condemn yet more people to them.

Darby_ 9:08 Wed Dec 17
Re: Hostage situation in Sydney.
What are you on about, Gavros?

The harmless hashtag was about not abusing random Muslim because of the psychopathic extremists.

As for head in the sand, I don't know if you noticed, but we've bombing the Salafist extremists in Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan.

And yet people get offended by an innocuous, well-meaning twitter hashtag. LAUGHABLE.

No. Liberal do-gooders allowed this monster to kill these poor people. Anyone with any balls would have locked him up or deported him.

Interesting back story about the woman who promoted the 'ill rise with you' hashtag nonsense.
